Kerala is divided into three sections with three cities that control the life of these regions. These are Kozhikode in the north, Kochi in the middle and Tiruvanthapuram in the south.

Kochi is the financial capital of Kerala and it’s largest city. It has an airport of international standard. Kochi is rich in history and was the gateway of trade with China and Arabia 2000 years ago. St. Thomas, the Apostle, landed just north of Kochi in 45 AD and the first Christians were converted. It houses the famous Chinese fishing nets, a 2000-year-old Jewish synagogue, St. Francis Church (1503 AD) where the famous Portuguese explorer Vasco Da Gama was buried. Da Gama was the first to establish an ocean route from Europe to the East. His remains were later transferred back to Portugal.
